Venomous Snake Handling
Handling venomous snakes is a specialized skill that comes with its own risks. An increasing number of people in Europe are keeping venomous snakes as pets, often without any practical experience. Emergency services, veterinarians, animal caretakers, and biologists are also encountering venomous animals more frequently in their work, despite receiving limited training on this subject.
Mastering the handling of venomous snakes requires practice, repetition, and finesse. A single mistake can have severe consequences! Moreover, being able to handle a venomous animal is just the beginning. Understanding how venom works, which precautions to take during handling, and how to respond correctly to potential emergencies are equally crucial.
We offer a two-day training course on handling venomous snakes. During the course, participants are gradually introduced to working with venomous animals and taught various handling techniques. This course is suitable for emergency services, veterinarians, animal caretakers, biologists, and hobbyists who wish to expand their knowledge of toxinology and working with venomous animals.
This introductory course covers all essential basics of safely working with potentially dangerous snakes and allows participants to gain hands-on experience with venomous snakes under the guidance of experts.
