The Morocco Expedition is packed with adventure, taking you across vast desert plains and lush oases in search of North Africa’s most iconic wildlife. Encounter the pitch-black Moroccan cobra, horned vipers, puff adders, Mediterranean chameleons, Rüppell’s foxes, and an array of other fascinating reptiles, mammals, birds, and arthropods. We’ll explore a large portion of the country through road cruising, dune hikes, and swims in desert oases. In addition to spotting wildlife, we’ll contribute to conservation efforts by rescuing animals trapped in water cisterns and sealing these deadly hazards to protect local ecosystems.

This expedition involves plenty of driving, allowing us to maximize encounters with target species and rescue countless animals from cisterns along the way. It’s also a self-drive adventure, so we’ll need at least 2 to 3 participants to take on driving duties. Don’t worry—everything will be organized for you.

High Atlas Extension

An intro to Morocco, before the start of the expedition.

Sahara Extension

A last visit to the Sahara, after the expedition.

- Journey to the Western Sahara,
