Although the H.E.R.P. is primarily committed to conservation and education, we also offer safe and animal-friendly castings for shoots and films.

When exotic animals are used in art, film or photo productions, safety and animal friendliness aren't usually guaranteed. In addition, incorrect information or a bad, incorrect, stereotyped, unnatural or non-animal-friendly image of the animals is often unknowingly portrayed or published. This can then lead to unwanted criticism... and this is a pity. Both for you as a creative producer and for the animals.

This is the reason why the H.E.R.P. is the point of contact in Belgium for the use of exotic animals in your film, photo or art project.

Several casting companies, event agencies, production houses, photographers and TV studios have already used some of our (over 50) available animals... And the result is impressive!

All our animals are well socialized with people, safe to work with and are always accompanied by our expert handlers. They will guide you in working with the animals and ensure an animal-friendly and safe casting.

On site, our guides are happy to provide advice on how to best portray the animals, what is possible and what can be paid attention to regarding the transfer of information. If necessary, an appropriate decor, adapted housing or display terrarium can also be provided to exhibit or photograph/film the animals.
