Pathology and hospitalization
This specialized course on pathology and hospitalization delves deeper into the study of diseases in reptiles and amphibians, as well as how these animals are typically treated in clinical settings. The techniques of anesthesia, various surgical procedures, and nutritional therapies are explained using case studies.
The program is instructed by a true authority in herpetofauna veterinary medicine, Dr. Tom Hellebuyck, a diplomate of the European College of Zoological Medicine and head of the Poultry, Exotic Pets, Wildlife, and Laboratory Animals Department at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Merelbeke.
